It is considerable to note that Medical Lab Techniques Dept. at College of Technology & Health Sciences has started its Academic Year 2023 – 2024 with a Seminar entitled
"Breastfeeding & Lactation Problems"
The Seminar Lecture has been delivered by the Pediatrician Dr. Thabat Rayis Al-Fihan, with the attendance of the Department Head and the Faculty Members. The Lecturer has emphasized that Breastfeeding is considered by all as the most appropriate way for feeding a child, though there are many common mistakes committed by mothers including the method of breastfeeding, repeated feedings, and failure to feed the child in the correct way. Besides, there are also mistakes committed in the process of Artificial Feeding, regarding the milk amount needed by the child, Preparation Method, and Cleanliness of the Bottle.
