The Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques Organizes a Scientific Workshop on “Sera and Vaccines and Their Role in Public Health”
On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, held a scientific workshop entitled: “Sera and Vaccines and Their Role in Public Health”, delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Haider Abbas Hadi via Google Meet.
The workshop highlighted the scientific and practical importance of sera and vaccines in the prevention of infectious diseases, as well as their central role in promoting public health and protecting communities. It also discussed the latest global developments in this field. The session witnessed remarkable interaction from students and participants, who enriched the discussion through questions and scientific contributions that broadened the overall benefit of the workshop.
This workshop comes as part of the department’s preparations for the Sustainability Camp, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, which emphasizes ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages. The event also reflects the vital role of medical education and practical training in serving the community and strengthening the healthcare system.
