Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Ahmed Rawdan, the College held an expanded meeting this morning, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The meeting was attended by the heads of academic departments and sustainability officers from all departments.
The meeting was held as part of the preparations for the Sustainability Camp, in which the College is preparing to participate. Participants discussed several key topics, most notably:
1. General preparation for the Sustainability Camp and ensuring the availability of requirements for effective participation.
2. Reviewing the activities that will be showcased at the College of Education booth during the camp, reflecting the College's identity and educational mission.
3. Following up on the development of awareness and guidance brochures on sustainability, which will be distributed to visitors and participants.
4. Developing the annual sustainability plan for each academic department, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the University's vision.
5. Emphasizing early preparations for celebrating World Teachers' Day, in a manner befitting the importance of this educational occasion.
6. Discussing student proposals and contributions to the Sustainability Camp, and encouraging their creativity and initiative.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean commended the efforts made by all departments to enhance the College of Education's role in spreading the culture of sustainability, emphasizing that these activities align with the strategic directions of Al-Mustaqbal University in supporting education and sustainable development.
