Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rawdan, Dean of the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University, a comprehensive preparatory meeting was held in anticipation of the upcoming celebration of World Teachers’ Day, with the presence of faculty members and course coordinators from the Department of English.
Dr. Rawdan opened the meeting by emphasizing the noble value of the teaching profession, noting that World Teachers’ Day represents an annual opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to teachers for their pivotal role in shaping generations and building a brighter future.
The meeting included an in-depth discussion of all organizational details related to the celebration, starting with the preparation of the general program and the distribution of responsibilities among committees, moving to the coordination of cultural and artistic segments, and concluding with arrangements for hospitality and media coverage of the event. The participants also discussed mechanisms to engage students in the celebration by presenting speeches, theatrical performances, and literary readings that highlight their creativity and reflect the complementary relationship between teachers and their students.
Attendees contributed several proposals and ideas aimed at giving the celebration a distinctive character that reflects the College’s mission and the University’s vision of honoring the teaching profession.
