It is remarkable to note that, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, accompanied by assist Prof. Dr. Hamza Muhammad Ridha Yahya, Head of Bio-Medical Engineering Department, and during a Visit to Malaysia, the President has managed to sign “Letter of Intent for Academic Collaboration”, with Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, UTeM, and Universiti Malaysia Perlis, UniMAP.
This letter aims to organize Joint Training for Top Students & Academics, Cooperating in the Field of Mutual Supervision, Preparing & Publishing Research, Participating in the Area of Quality & Academic Accreditation, in addition to sharing any available capabilities, ensuring meanwhile Intellectual Property Rights of each Party.
We should note however that Prof. Dr. Talal Yousef, a Strategic Consultant at the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research has delivered a Lecture on
“Importance of Tripartite International Cooperation between Iraqi, Malaysian& Australian Universities and its Effect on Obtaining International Accreditation for Academic Programs”

For his Part, Assist Prof Dr. Hamza Al-Khafaji has reviewed the Cooperation Plan of Al-Mustaqbal University with the Malaysian Universities, introducing their capabilities that our University could benefit from. Meanwhile, Malaysian Universities might make use of the Initiative submitted by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research, which invites Students of Foreign Universities to “Study in Iraq”, and thus attracting Postgraduate Students of Rare Majors. On the other hand, Representatives of Malaysian Universities have appreciated the Distinguished Status of Al-Mustaqbal University, whether inside or outside Iraq at all Educational and Scientific Aspects.
