Under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law, a delegation representing Al-Mustaqbal University's College of Law participated in the launch event of the programming standards. The event, sponsored by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Na'im Al-Abboudi, and under the supervision of the President of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, Professor Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh, marked the launch of national standards for accrediting law college programs under the slogan "Accrediting Law College Programs: A Pioneering Step towards Developing Legal Studies in Iraqi Universities." The event took place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the conference hall in the college.
The ceremony began with the national anthem and a recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha for the souls of Iraq's martyrs, followed by a documentary film about the College of Law at the University of Baghdad, showcasing its history over time. After welcoming remarks from Dr. Ali Hadi Al-Hilali, Professor Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh, President of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, delivered a speech, followed by a speech from the President of the National Council, Professor Dr. Nazim Jabbar Taleb, Dean of the College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University. A documentary film was then presented by the Vice President of the Council, Professor Dr. Ban Salah Abdul Qadir, containing the six standards that will be adopted by the National Council for accrediting law college programs.
