A ministerial delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by the Department of Research and Development, conducted a field visit today to the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University. The visit aimed to assess the center’s operational readiness and evaluate its alignment with the approved standards and regulatory frameworks.
The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, President of the University; Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Nidal Khudair, Director of the Center, along with the center’s distinguished academic and technical staff.
The visiting committee included representatives from:

• The Center for Information Research and Rehabilitation / University of Kufa
• The Department of Entrepreneurial Project Management / Department of Research and Development
During the tour, committee members inspected the center’s laboratories and research facilities, and reviewed its advanced technical capabilities, infrastructure, and qualified personnel. The delegation expressed their appreciation for the remarkable progress made by Al-Mustaqbal University in developing and equipping the center with state-of-the-art technologies.
