In a heartfelt display of altruism and dedication, volunteer students from Mustaqbal University continue providing medical and humanitarian services to the pilgrims of Imam Hussain’s Arbaeen, offering uninterrupted care around the clock, including treatment and first aid during late-night hours, under the direct supervision of the Babel Health Directorate.

This exceptional field effort is supported and overseen by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, as the medical units work tirelessly to ensure immediate healthcare and the safety of pilgrims during their blessed journey towards the holy city of Karbala.

This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being – through the provision of continuous emergency medical care.

Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation – by maintaining public health standards during service delivery.

Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – through support of community services during major religious events.

Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals – via collaboration with the Babel Health Directorate and other service entities.

This continuous dedication reflects the students’ sense of responsibility and commitment, and embodies Mustaqbal University’s mission to serve the community, especially during major religious occasions that require collective effort to support pilgrims.

The university concludes this initiative with sincere prayers for the health and safety of all pilgrims, asking Almighty God to accept their blessed visits and return them safely to their families.
