President of Al-Mustaqbal University Meets Iraqi University Leaders to Strengthen Scientific and Research Collaboration
On the sidelines of his participation in a Ph.D. dissertation defense committee, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, met with Professor Dr. Ali Al-Shaawi, President of Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Iyad Murad, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Kareem, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, in a cordial and fruitful meeting.
During the meeting, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University was warmly received, with praise for the university’s achievements, academic standing, and its distinguished position in global rankings.
The discussions focused on activating existing agreements between the two universities, organizing joint scientific conferences, and enhancing collaboration in research fields, all in service of researchers and students, while strengthening academic relations between the institutions.
In the same context, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi also met with Professor Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiyad, President of Al-Karkh University of Science, to explore mechanisms for advancing academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities.
The meetings concluded with both sides affirming the importance of continued collaboration and the exchange of scientific expertise, in support of their shared vision of academic excellence and innovation.
