Al-Mustaqbal University Continues Preparations for Its Specialized Scientific Conferences 2025
As part of its efforts to enhance academic and research activity, Al-Mustaqbal University is continuing its preparations to host a series of specialized scientific conferences organized by its colleges, following the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to hold them during the remaining period of the 2025 calendar year.
The Office of Scientific and Academic Supervision held a coordination meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Muzafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, with the attendance of Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza, Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Tareq Jawad Kazem, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, along with representatives of the preparatory and scientific committees from the concerned colleges: (College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, College of Science, College of Pharmacy, and College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences).
The meeting included a comprehensive review of the conferences’ schedules, the number of research papers received, evaluation mechanisms, as well as follow-up on procedures related to collaboration with scientific publishing entities, identifying keynote speakers, and determining the logistical requirements necessary for the success of these events.
During the meeting, Professor Dr. Muzafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi emphasized the directives of the University President, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, stressing the importance of early preparation and continuous follow-up to ensure the organization of high-quality scientific conferences. He also highlighted the need for objective evaluation of submitted research to guarantee the selection of robust scientific studies that reflect the reputation of the university. Furthermore, he pointed to the importance of leveraging the local and international partnerships established by the university, by encouraging joint research and hosting keynote speakers and international experts, thereby enriching the conferences and elevating the level of their scientific outcomes.
