In line with the university’s policy of scientific openness to Arab and international universities, a student delegation from the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University was sent to Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Following the delegation’s return, after completing the short summer training program at Mansoura University during the period August 16–23, 2025, and within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the two universities, the students were officially received.
The reception was held by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, along with the deans of the faculties, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technologies.
The students expressed that this training was, for them, a rich scientific and research journey in exchanging expertise. The program included scientific visits and specialized workshops, such as the Vertebrate Paleontology Center at the Faculty of Science, where students were introduced to the latest technologies and research in fossils and archaeological discoveries, and a visit to Entilaq Communications Technology Company, which showcased cutting-edge solutions in information and communication technology.
The students also visited laboratories in biochemistry, anatomy, stem cells, and medical research, where they learned about advanced analytical equipment and techniques, and attended practical demonstrations by researchers and academics on the latest developments in biology and medicine.
The delegation further visited specialized medical centers, including the Nephrology and Urology Center, one of the largest in the Middle East, as well as the Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Center, where they explored modern medical technologies and engaged in interactive tours with doctors and specialists.
On the cultural and recreational side, the students visited the permanent camp in Gamasa, where they were introduced to modern infrastructure and techniques in sports and health training. They also enjoyed a leisure trip to Ras El-Bar and a free tour of Mansoura city, enhancing cultural exchange and fostering connections between students from both countries.
Moreover, the students participated in a number of scientific workshops, engaging in hands-on training in solar energy labs, artificial intelligence, communications, and electrical circuits. These experiences provided them with updated practical knowledge and laid the foundation for integrative skills in scientific and research fields.
The delegation also met with Egyptian students, where Al-Mustaqbal University students expressed their eagerness to share their experiences and learn from their Egyptian peers. They emphasized that such programs strengthen their competitive abilities and open new avenues for scientific and professional excellence.
