Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, accompanied by Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University of Iraq, conducted a field tour that included several faculties and centers of the university. The visit aimed to explore the academic, research, and modern infrastructure capabilities, and to identify opportunities for strengthening joint cooperation, as part of the official visit of Al-Mustaqbal University’s delegation to Mansoura University.
During the tour, Dr. Sherif Khater stressed that Mansoura University attaches great importance to developing the learning and training environment by updating academic programs and equipping them with the latest technologies. He pointed out that cooperation with Al-Mustaqbal University represents a model of Arab integration in higher education.
For his part, Dr. Hassan Shaker expressed his admiration for the distinguished facilities at Mansoura University, noting that the visit represents a new step towards building a strategic partnership that opens broad prospects for academic and research cooperation between the two universities.
The tour began with a visit to the Faculty of Law, where the delegation viewed the Faculty Council Hall, lecture halls, large auditoriums, the electronic testing hall, and the library and reading rooms—one of the largest legal libraries among Egyptian universities. They also observed the moot court and the legal clinic, which provide an integrated training environment to prepare students for professional practice. The Faculty of Law is regarded as one of the leading law schools in the Arab world, combining academic tradition with modern training programs.
This was followed by a visit to the Faculty of Commerce, where the tour included advanced training and simulation laboratories, including a stock market simulation lab and a banking simulation lab, in addition to large auditoriums and electronic testing halls. The Faculty of Commerce plays a pioneering role in graduating specialized cadres in economics and business, with a focus on practical training and the use of technology in education.
The tour also included a visit to “Entilaq” Information and Communication Technology Company.
The delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University concluded their tour with a visit to the special programs building at the Faculty of Engineering.
