Al-Mustaqbal University has announced the signing of a preliminary cooperation protocol with Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This landmark step aims to host a number of postgraduate programs offered by Mansoura University at Al-Mustaqbal University’s campus in Babylon Governorate, Iraq. The initiative is set to support scientific research, advance higher education, and strengthen the fields of science and technology through the exchange of academic and research expertise between the two institutions.

Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasized during the signing ceremony that this protocol represents a pivotal step toward building a solid academic partnership with the prestigious Mansoura University. He highlighted that the agreement aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic vision of engaging with regional and international universities and developing Iraq’s higher education environment in line with the latest global standards. He also praised Mansoura University’s support for cooperation, commending its recent achievement in the Shanghai Ranking 2025, where it ranked third nationally and within the 601–700 global category.

The signing ceremony featured a documentary showcasing the experience of Al-Mustaqbal University students who recently participated in a short training program at Mansoura University. The event concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields between the two universities and the honoring of the delegation accompanying the President of Al-Mustaqbal University in recognition of their efforts.

This collaboration comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of academic leadership and international engagement, reinforcing its position as a pioneering Iraqi institution dedicated to preparing a new generation of researchers and students capable of keeping pace with scientific advancements and actively contributing to community service and sustainable development.
