As part of its commitment to supporting youth initiatives and promoting the principles of sustainable development, the Presidency of Future University organized an introductory workshop marking the launch of the “Future Sustainability Ambassadors Camp”, with the attendance of students, participants, and representatives from the academic and administrative bodies.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the camp’s main themes and objectives, which focus on empowering young people to become ambassadors of positive change in their communities by raising their awareness of environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
The session covered an overview of the training programs that will be offered during the camp, the key skills participants will gain, as well as details on participation mechanisms, volunteer opportunities, and practical projects to be carried out throughout the camp.
In its opening speech, the university’s presidency emphasized the vital role of youth in building a sustainable future and reiterated the university’s commitment to providing an enabling environment that fosters innovation and drives progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The organization of this camp is part of a series of initiatives through which Future University seeks to prepare a conscious generation capable of contributing effectively to their communities and addressing future environmental and economic challenges.
