Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in Digital Learning Week, organized by UNESCO in Paris from September 2 to 5, 2025, under the theme:
((AI and the Future of Education: Direction, Disruption, Dilemmas))
The event is recognized as one of the world’s leading annual platforms that brings together Ministers of Education, policymakers, and experts from across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Participants highlighted the need to approach technological transformations with responsibility, ensuring that innovations in artificial intelligence serve learners, foster equity and empowerment, and enhance the quality of education, while also addressing the psychological, social, and ethical dimensions of these rapid changes.
Speaking to the media, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi emphasized that Al-Mustaqbal University’s participation reflects the institution’s strategic vision, which places innovation and excellence at the core of its educational and research endeavors. He reaffirmed the University’s pioneering role in advancing digital transformation and supporting the development of sustainable education systems.
He further noted that such international engagements provide a vital opportunity to stay abreast of the latest research and global best practices in AI-driven education, enabling the formulation of innovative strategies to ensure the long-term success and resilience of education in the digital era.
