The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, has addressed a letter of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Almustaqbal University, in recognition of the remarkable efforts that led the university to achieve a pioneering milestone by ranking first among Iraqi public and private universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings for Sustainable Development 2025. The university was also placed in the 201–300 category globally out of more than 2,300 universities representing 130 countries worldwide.
Furthermore, Almustaqbal University achieved an unprecedented global accomplishment by securing the first place worldwide in the Clean Energy axis.
In this regard, the Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all faculty members and staff of Almustaqbal University, praising their great contributions and wishing them further success in serving Iraq.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Almustaqbal University, congratulated the university’s faculty and staff on this distinguished achievement, valuing the Minister’s initiative and emphasizing that this recognition serves as a strong motivation to continue the path of excellence and enhance the university’s position, thereby contributing to the advancement of higher education at both the national and international levels.
