The Forensic Science Department at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign titled “Poverty is Not a Choice” with the participation of several faculty members and students, under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Howaida Nazzal Hussein and Ms. Wqar Jfat Jassim.
The campaign aimed to raise community awareness about the dangers of poverty and the importance of combating it through education, awareness, and empowerment, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 1 (No Poverty), Goal 4 (Quality Education), and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
Organizers emphasized the vital role of universities and students in spreading social justice culture and inspiring collective efforts to build a society free of poverty, ensuring welfare and equality for all.
