Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, the Quality Assurance Division organized a specialized three-day training course on the mechanisms of annual performance evaluation. The course was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Zahraa Hashim Kareem, Head of the Division, and Lect. Asst. Israa Mohsen Kazem, Division member, with the participation of a number of faculty and staff members, including Lect. Asst. Ghadir Haider Abbas, representing the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Day One: Reviewed the approved models in the annual evaluation process, including (the written pledge, field visits, student feedback forms, and the form for submitting ideas and suggestions).
Day Two: Provided a detailed explanation of the faculty evaluation form.
Day Three: Focused on explaining the evaluation form for administrative faculty members, in addition to the evaluation forms for administrative, technical, and vocational staff.
This course reflects the college’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality and institutional transparency, enhancing both academic and administrative performance, and improving the quality of educational services offered to students. It also aimed to equip participants with practical skills in data analysis and in developing a work environment based on continuous evaluation and sustainable improvement.
This initiative is part of the university’s efforts to achieve the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education) by strengthening comprehensive quality practices and advancing academic work in line with global standards.
