In line with the directives of Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, to support student creativity and foster research and innovation, the College of Science – Forensic Evidence Department organized the “Forensic Knowledge Hackathon” with the participation of its distinguished students.

The event featured a student competition, where teams of participants engaged in a series of specialized forensic science questions, aiming to answer them accurately and quickly in an atmosphere full of scientific competitiveness and teamwork.

Dr. Mazen Hadi praised the efforts of the students and their remarkable participation, reaffirming the university’s continuous support for their academic and innovative journey. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Latif, Assistant Dean of the College of Science, also expressed his appreciation for the event, commending the students’ spirit of creativity and collaboration.

This initiative comes as part of the College of Science’s preparations for the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp, scheduled for mid-October, reinforcing the university’s role as a hub for innovation and scientific excellence, while contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

Goal 4: Quality Education by encouraging research and interactive learning.

Goal 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure through fostering creative thinking.

Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening collaboration between students and faculty members.
