On the morning of Monday, September 29, 2025, the Department of Radiology Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Mustaqbal University, organized an internal Hackathon competition as part of its preparations to participate in the Mustaqbal Sustainability Camp, scheduled to be held on October 4–5, 2025, with the attendance of the Head of Department, Professor Raad Shakir Al-Naeli.
The competition aimed to enhance students’ practical skills in conducting radiological examinations and procedures with accuracy and speed, familiarize them with the latest scientific and technological methods in the field, and provide an opportunity to engage in teamwork and collaboration—thus raising their readiness for participation in the Camp’s activities.
The Hackathon activities included a series of practical training sessions, such as operating modern equipment, conducting simulated workplace scenarios, developing time-management skills, sharpening scientific observation, and fostering team collaboration.
During his supervision of the activities, the Head of Department emphasized the importance of such initiatives in refining students’ practical skills and connecting them with theoretical knowledge. He praised the spirit of healthy competition among students, affirming that these experiences prepare them to face scientific and technical challenges with competence and professionalism.
This initiative reflects Mustaqbal University’s vision to support student creativity, enhance an interactive learning environment, contribute to the success of the Mustaqbal Sustainability Camp, and promote a culture of sustainable development in health and technology fields.
