The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University organized a hackathon titled Think & Code Sprint, aiming to promote student creativity and encourage technological innovation. This initiative aligns with the directives of University President Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi to support innovation and scientific research, under the supervision of Activities Coordinator Mr. Ali Salim Halim and with the sponsorship of the University President, the Dean of the College of Science, and the Department Head.
The hackathon witnessed the participation of a group of outstanding students who formed teams working collaboratively. They were presented with a series of intellectual and programming challenges requiring quick analysis, creative thinking, and smart programming. Through these challenges, students aimed to provide practical technical solutions demonstrating their ability to apply knowledge in artificial intelligence and modern technologies.
Supervisors praised the students’ performance and active participation, emphasizing that such activities contribute to developing young talents and preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with technological advancements and transforming ideas into practical projects.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to linking scientific research with sustainability, by encouraging students to develop digital solutions that improve the quality of healthcare services, enhance the efficiency of intelligent medical systems, and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in health, education, and technology.
