Professor Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairi, Head of the Anesthesia Department, and Dr. Sajad Alwan, the department coordinator, held a meeting with the second-year student representatives to discuss the process of selecting class representatives and the general representative of the year.
The meeting took place within the framework of promoting student participation and educational leadership, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by enabling students to contribute to decision-making and improve the academic learning environment.
During the meeting, the importance of the representatives’ leadership role in representing their peers and addressing their academic and student needs was emphasized. The election mechanism for the representatives was agreed upon, ensuring full participation, transparency, and fairness throughout the process.
