The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness seminar on Wednesday, September 27, 2025, in celebration of World Tourism Day, presented by Professor Dr. Athraa Yahia Al-Hijjazi.
During the seminar, Dr. Al-Hijjazi highlighted the vital role of tourism in supporting the national economy, promoting cultural exchange among nations, and showcasing the country’s civilizational identity on the international stage.
She also emphasized the strong connection between tourism and several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to sustainable economic growth, job creation, and the promotion of peace and mutual understanding among communities. The seminar further reflected Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to raising awareness of global issues and strengthening the role of academic institutions in serving society and contributing to comprehensive development.
