Al-Mustaqbal University Tops Iraqi Universities in Goal 16 According to Times Higher Education 2025 Rankings Date: 22/06/2025 | Viewers: 849

In a new achievement added to the series of successes accomplished by Al-Mustaqbal University, the university has ranked first among all Iraqi universities—public and private—in Goal 16 of the Sustainable Development Goals (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), according to the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2025. The university was also ranked in the 101–200 band globally, reflecting its deep commitment to promoting justice, the rule of law, and building effective and inclusive institutions.

This achievement is a testament to the efforts of the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University, which stands as one of the university’s key pillars in advancing the principles of peace and justice through its academic programs, research activities, and community initiatives aimed at building a stable society founded on the rule of law.

Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law, the college continues to play a vital role in preparing a generation of distinguished legal professionals capable of making a positive impact on society and upholding the values embodied in Goal 16 of the Sustainable Development Goals.
