In a new academic achievement for the College of Law – Al-Mustaqbal University, a new book has been published by Lecturer Mr. Waleed Khalid Al-Ghanimi, titled:
“Environmental Justice Between Neglect and Necessity: A Legal Vision for Establishing a Specialized Environmental Judiciary in Iraq.”

The book addresses the importance of establishing a specialized environmental judiciary in Iraq as a necessary step to promote environmental justice, ensure the protection of environmental rights, achieve sustainable development, and safeguard the right of future generations to a healthy and safe environment.
The author highlights that the absence of such a judiciary represents an institutional shortcoming that must be addressed and developed in alignment with the goals of sustainable development.

This publication represents a significant addition to academic contributions in the field of environmental law and serves as a scientific reference that supports efforts for environmental and legislative reform in Iraq.
