Under the generous patronage and blessed presence of the respected President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, the activities of the 10th International Scientific Conference on Arab Women's Sports were launched, which is held under the slogan "Together for the Al-Mustaqbal University of Developing Arab Women's Sports Performance", with a majestic official and academic presence.

The ceremony was opened with a speech by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, where he pointed out that the conference comes in line with the orientations of Al-Mustaqbal University and its tireless efforts to achieve the goals of sustainable development, especially after adopting the slogan "Towards a Sustainable University" since 2019. He added that sports played a vital role in the beginnings of the Millennium Development Goals, in light of the multiple resolutions issued by the General Assembly, and the continued recognition of the role of sports in promoting peace, development and social progress.

He talked about the important goals that sports contribute to achieving, such as the third goal related to good health and well-being, and the fifth goal related to achieving gender equality, which makes cities safe and resilient.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Hassan Al-Hasnawi, who attended the ceremony, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Al-Mustaqbal University for adopting many qualitative initiatives in the field of sports, expressing his admiration for the infrastructure provided by the university to achieve high-level education and skills.
