Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the First Iraqi Medical Congress, held in the United Kingdom on Saturday and Sunday, June 14–15, 2025. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom in collaboration with the Midlands Medical Academy – UK, and is considered the largest Iraqi medical gathering held outside the country.
Professor Dr. Ahmed Khalid Aldhalmi, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, represented the university as part of a high-level delegation headed by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the University President.
The congress marked a significant step toward fostering a culture of international scientific collaboration and showcasing the bright image of Iraqi expertise across the globe. It also contributed to the realization of national goals for sustainable development in the healthcare and educational sectors.
Al-Mustaqbal University had a distinguished presence at this scientific event through a dedicated booth that highlighted the university’s recent achievements. The booth also introduced the College of General Medicine and its affiliated teaching hospital, which is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art medical technologies.
The booth was honored by the visit of His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Jaafar Al-Sadr, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom, who expressed his admiration for the accomplishments of Al-Mustaqbal University. The booth attracted a wide audience of medical and scientific professionals, who expressed their appreciation for the university’s high-level development and its alignment with the latest global advancements in both medical and scientific fields.
