Al-Mustaqbal University Hosts the "Land of Babylon Foundation" Initiative to Take Children to the Zoo
As part of its community commitment and its educational and humanitarian mission, Al-Mustaqbal University, led by a team of Sustainability Ambassadors—Dr. Tayba Jasim Mohammed and Ms. Mayada Ahmed from the College of Pharmacy—along with the university's animal sanctuary team, welcomed a group of children participating in an initiative launched by the Land of Babylon Foundation. The initiative included an educational and recreational trip to the zoo, aiming to enrich the children's knowledge and enhance their environmental and educational awareness through direct interaction with the animal world.
The university graciously hosted the children, providing a safe and supportive environment that reflects its spirit of generosity and openness to the local community. This initiative served as an opportunity to bring joy to the children's hearts while opening new horizons of knowledge that contribute to their upbringing and broaden their awareness.
This step came as part of a constructive collaboration between the university and civil society organizations, reaffirming Al-Mustaqbal University's pioneering role in supporting purposeful community initiatives. It also highlights the university's ongoing commitment to building bridges of communication with future generations through educational and recreational activities that combine values with knowledge.
