Achieving the 17th Sustainable Development Goal: A Visit by Dar Al-Ilm Private High School to the College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University

On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed a delegation from Dar Al-Ilm Private High School, accompanied by a group of outstanding students. They were received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Saadia Hadi, the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Rawa Majid, and several faculty members.

The visit included an introductory tour of the college and its laboratories, where students were introduced to the latest medical equipment and technologies used in education and clinical training. Faculty members, Dr. Mahdi Hamza Mandhur, Dr. Ali Hussein Hasib, and Assistant Lecturer Hatem Kareem, guided the students through the college halls and laboratories, providing them with valuable insights into various medical devices and techniques.

During the visit, laboratory instructors delivered scientific lectures on the importance of handwashing and the role of smart devices in the medical field. Additionally, Lecturer Hatem Kareem Mansour presented an awareness session on the dangers of drug addiction and its impact on health and society, as part of the university’s efforts to promote health awareness and education.

The visit concluded with a tour of the university campus and its nature reserve, where students learned about the university’s environmental and sustainability initiatives. Teachers from Dar Al-Ilm Private High School praised the architectural and educational advancements at Al-Mustaqbal University, emphasizing the importance of such visits in broadening students' knowledge and enhancing their academic and professional aspirations.
