Scientific Visit to Nader Al-Thani Health Center in Babylon

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the College of Nursing organized a scientific visit to Nader Al-Thani Health Center in Babylon Province. The visit was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Mohammed Kazem, with the participation of a group of fourth-year students specializing in Community Health Nursing.

This visit aligns with the university’s efforts to enhance the practical experience of its students by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world healthcare settings. Additionally, this initiative contributes to the achievement of the third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-being), which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages through improved healthcare services, awareness, and the training of medical professionals in best practices.

Moreover, the visit supports the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education) by providing hands-on learning opportunities for students, thereby improving the quality of education and ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Objectives of the Visit:

✅ Gaining insights into the operations of healthcare centers.
✅ Strengthening students’ role in serving the local community.
✅ Maximizing the benefits of field experiences in the healthcare sector.

The visit took place on Tuesday, February 18, 2024,, and included field tours, meetings with healthcare staff, and discussions on improving healthcare services in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
