The Scientific Conference of the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University continued its activities for the second day, April 24. Discussions focused in-depth on a central and important theme: "Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq... Cost of Impact and Policy Response."
The second day's sessions featured the presentation of a number of valuable research papers by participating professors and researchers. These papers examined various dimensions of the issue of poverty in Iraq and its impact on the sustainable development process. The scientific papers also addressed the cost of this impact at various economic, social, and environmental levels, in addition to analyzing and evaluating the policies and strategies adopted to respond to these challenges.
The discussions that followed the research presentations enriched the dialogue and exchange of experiences among attendees. Academics and researchers provided in-depth insights and comprehensive analyses of the issues raised, proposing practical recommendations that could contribute to formulating more effective policies to combat poverty and achieve the sustainable development goals in Iraq.
Speakers during the sessions emphasized the importance of concerted efforts between academic institutions, government institutions, and civil society organizations to address the challenge of poverty and adopt comprehensive and sustainable development strategies that ensure social justice and economic prosperity for all Iraqis.
