A delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, headed by Engineer Jumaa Al-Bahadli, congratulated almustaqbal University in Babylon on achieving first place globally in affordable clean energy.

This achievement was included in the University Impact Rankings 2025, issued by the British Times Higher Education, and represents a great source of pride for Iraq and the Arab world.

The delegation praised the university's academic and scientific efforts in developing clean energy technologies, emphasizing that this unprecedented accomplishment reflects the university's leadership in the fields of sustainable development and clean energy.

For his part, the university's Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Munther Fadhil Hassan, welcomed the delegation, expressing the university's pride in this achievement and appreciating the ministry's role in supporting educational and scientific institutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides agreed to enhance joint cooperation to achieve further scientific progress that serves Iraq's vision of innovation and sustainable development.
