As part of the preparations for the “Future Ambassadors for Sustainability” camp, the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an academic workshop entitled: “The Transition to a Circular Economy through Strategies and Techniques for Achieving Environmental Sustainability”, delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hamed Abbas Mohammed.
The workshop highlighted the importance of shifting towards circular economy models as a strategic path to achieving environmental sustainability and reducing the negative impact of economic activities on natural resources. The lecturer also reviewed the most prominent modern strategies and techniques that institutions can adopt to move from a linear economy to a circular one, contributing to enhancing resource efficiency, encouraging recycling, and supporting green innovation.
This workshop comes as part of the continuous efforts exerted by the College to raise environmental awareness among its students and staff, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for active participation in building a sustainable future, in line with the University’s orientation to support the Sustainable Development Goals and strengthen its academic standing.
