The Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr. Hussein Waheed Aziz, attended the dialogue seminar organized by the Faculty of Education on the occasion of International Literacy Day. The seminar dealt with ways to address illiteracy, the impact of education on sustainable development, and national and international initiatives in this field. In his speech, the Dean stressed the importance of concerted academic and community efforts to eradicate illiteracy, as it is the basis for building people and enabling them to contribute effectively to the development of society.
