In Support of the First Sustainable Development Goal: No Poverty

In alignment with the first goal of the Sustainable Development Goals — eradicating poverty — the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques, in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit, distributed more than 50 food baskets with the aim of:
• Alleviating the suffering of the poor and meeting their basic needs.
• Improving food security and reducing hunger and malnutrition.
• Supporting social stability and preventing the spread of poverty-related issues.
• Promoting a spirit of solidarity and social cohesion within the community.
• Encouraging the poor to focus on education and work instead of worrying about food.
• Contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly No Poverty and Zero Hunger.
