In an Atmosphere of Compassion and Human Solidarity: Mustaqbal University’s College of Health and Medical Technologies Marks Ashura with a Humanitarian Visit to Al-Zuhur State Care Home

In an atmosphere filled with love and human solidarity, and as part of its purposeful social and educational programs, the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Mustaqbal University organized a special visit to the Al-Zuhur State Care Home to commemorate the eternal occasion of Ashura — the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and his pure family — a timeless symbol of sacrifice, devotion, and support for the oppressed.

This initiative, launched by the college, reaffirmed the values of Imam Hussain (A.S.), which embody compassion, justice, and mutual aid. Delegations of faculty members and students distributed symbolic gifts and meals to the children and residents of the care home, in a heartwarming atmosphere of solidarity and empathy.

The visit included various segments, such as educational and awareness activities, moral songs, and speeches emphasizing the spiritual importance of this occasion and its role in strengthening community service values among students. The college team also listened to the home’s needs and offered moral support to its staff as part of the university’s commitment to social partnership.
