Lecturer Hassan faez Abdul-Hussein inspects the progress of summer training for radiology students at Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital in Najaf

Professor Hassan Faiz Abdul-Hussein, a lecturer in the Radiology Technology Department, made an inspection visit to Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital in Najaf to monitor the progress of the department's summer training.

Professor Hassan reviewed the students' practical performance in the diagnostic imaging departments, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI. During the visit, a meeting was held with hospital supervisors to review the training plans, the trainees' level, and the field challenges they face.

The lecturer also met with a group of student trainees, who expressed their appreciation for this valuable opportunity. They emphasized that participating in the hospital's daily work has enriched their technical skills and given them confidence in performing diagnostic tests.

At the conclusion of the visit, Hassan Faiz made simple recommendations to enhance the quality of training, including organizing joint workshops, developing realistic simulation lessons, and conducting regular follow-up, including monthly assessments. He emphasized the priority of developing the academic partnership between the university and Al-Sadr Hospital to ensure the preparation of specialized personnel ready to contribute effectively to the healthcare sector.

This initiative is an extension of the Radiology Technology Department's efforts to continuously link theoretical study with practical application, in preparation for graduating medical technicians capable of meeting future medical challenges.
