Within the framework of scientific openness and the promotion of international academic collaboration, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, and Lect. Dr. Zaid Saad Abdul Madi, faculty member in the Department of Radiology at the same college, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Siti Norma Hamin Hadi, Professor of Medical Education at Universiti Sains Malaysia, presented a distinguished research paper at the 8th Malaysian International Anatomical Association Conference.
The paper, entitled:
“Perception of Anatomy Education among Students of Health Techniques in Iraq”,
focused on the current status of anatomy teaching for students of health technologies in Iraq. It highlighted their responsiveness and benefits gained from the subject, in addition to proposing curriculum development strategies and recommendations aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of anatomy education in line with modern global standards.
Commenting on this participation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi emphasized:
“Such international scientific conferences represent a valuable opportunity to transfer global experiences and exchange expertise, thereby enhancing the quality of education in our universities and opening new horizons for academic collaboration.”
This distinguished scientific contribution comes within the framework of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through strengthening academic partnerships between Iraqi universities and their international counterparts.
