As part of the Department of Optics Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to social responsibility and the achievement of the The second goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is Zero Hunger, Lecturer Mr. Issa Farhan Thiyab paid a visit to Babylon Orphanage to closely examine the conditions of the children residing there and to learn about their needs and essential requirements.

This initiative comes in line with the department’s efforts to achieve the first goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (No Poverty) by strengthening community solidarity and contributing to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable groups in society.

During the visit, Mr. Issa Farhan Thiyab emphasized the importance of building bridges of communication with social care institutions and supporting orphans in ways that contribute to providing them with a better environment and enhancing their opportunities for a dignified life.

This visit represents a significant humanitarian step within a series of voluntary activities that the Department of Optics Technologies continues to pursue, in harmony with the university’s mission of serving the community and humanity.
