As part of the preparations for the Sustainability Camp, the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University organized an online workshop entitled:
“Training Students on Safety Protocols in Operating Rooms,” presented by lecturer Ali Qasim Jawad.

The workshop aimed to provide students with the necessary scientific knowledge and practical skills to implement safety standards in operating rooms, adhere to international sterilization and infection control procedures, and properly handle medical equipment, ensuring a safe environment for patients and medical staff.

This workshop aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), by focusing on raising awareness about medical safety and improving the quality of healthcare services, thereby promoting a safe and healthy educational and professional environment.

The department’s administration emphasized that this event reflects Future University’s vision of advancing medical and technical education, preparing qualified graduates capable of meeting the demands of the labor market. They also noted that the Sustainability Camp includes a series of scientific and training activities aimed at serving students and the community.
