In line with its commitment to advancing scientific research and fostering its academic environment, the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Mustaqbal University received on the morning of Tuesday, September 23, 2025, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Al-Zuheiri, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at the University, accompanied by Professor Dr. Tarek Jawad Kazem, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, and Professor Dr. Sameer Bahiya, Director of the Department of Cultural Relations.

The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qayem. The meeting focused on mechanisms for establishing a new research unit within the College as a strategic step aimed at enhancing scientific and research activities and strengthening the College’s contribution to knowledge production and community service.

The Dean explained that the College has already completed most of the required procedures for establishing the research unit, noting that it will commence its work once the official approvals are finalized by the University President. She emphasized that this initiative will support researchers, faculty members, and students, while also providing an academic environment conducive to creativity and innovation.

This step comes within Mustaqbal University’s strategic vision to reinforce a culture of scientific research and to encourage colleges to establish specialized research units that contribute to raising academic and research performance in line with international quality standards and the requirements of sustainable development.
