As part of its preparations for the Sustainability Camp and its commitment to promoting public health, the Department of Anesthesia Technologies held an online workshop titled “Routine Laboratory Tests and Their Relationship to Individual and Anesthesia Patient Health,” presented by Dr. Mohammed Jasim Al-Ta’i on September 29, 2025. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ and healthcare staff’s understanding of the importance of routine laboratory tests and their role in prevention and maintaining individual health, contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.

The workshop witnessed active participation, with attendees asking questions and engaging in discussions about best health practices related to laboratory testing and monitoring the health status of patients prior to surgical procedures.
