The Department of biology honored second-stage student representatives for their outstanding efforts and active participation in the Sustainability Week activities held at the College of Science.

During the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented to the representatives who played a prominent role in coordinating, organizing, and participating in scientific activities and awareness-raising exhibitions, contributing to the success of the events and achieving their awareness-raising goals.

In his speech, the department's rapporteur, M.M. Jaafar Hamid Jaafar, praised the level of awareness and responsibility demonstrated by the student representatives, emphasizing that these conscientious models represent an important pillar in supporting academic and societal efforts toward environmental sustainability.
