As part of community service activities, the Sustainability Ambassadors at the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at Al-Mustaqbal University launched an awareness initiative titled "Your Health in Your Hands", aimed at raising public awareness about the importance of having blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring devices in every household.

The initiative focused on educating the community about the vital role these simple medical devices play in the early detection of chronic diseases, and in enabling individuals to regularly monitor their health—ultimately improving quality of life and reducing the risk of health complications.

The campaign included the distribution of informative brochures and on-site demonstrations for visitors, offering practical guidance on how to properly use these devices and interpret their readings.

This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable health practices by integrating home-based medical technologies and encouraging a culture of prevention and self-monitoring as essential components of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
Al-Mustaqbal University is the first University in Iraq.
