Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science, the College of Science – Department of Smart Medical Systems organized a workshop titled “Livestock Management through Smart Systems to Achieve Sustainable Food Security” delivered by Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abadi Mani, Head of the Department of Smart Medical Systems. The event was held on Wednesday, 24/9/2025, via Google Meet at 8:00 PM.

The workshop aimed to shed light on the importance of using smart systems in livestock management to ensure food security, minimize waste, and improve productivity, in line with Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 2 (Zero Hunger), Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and Goal 13 (Climate Action).

The session was attended by a group of faculty members from the Forensic Science Department, including the department’s rapporteur Asst. Lecturer Riam Thaer Ahmed and Ms. Wqar Jfat Jassim, reflecting the joint interest of academic departments in promoting the culture of sustainability.
