Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the intelligent Medical Systems Department at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled:
“Livestock Management through Smart Systems to Achieve Sustainable Food Security”
The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mehdi Ebady Manaa, Head of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department, on the evening of Wednesday, September 24, 2025, via Google Meet, with the attendance of a group of professors, students, and those interested in academic and scientific affairs.
The workshop addressed the importance of employing smart systems in monitoring and caring for livestock, given their pivotal role in enhancing food security and ensuring its sustainability. It also highlighted the latest technologies that can contribute to improving productivity and preventing diseases.
The event witnessed active interaction from participants through their interventions and questions, which enriched the discussion. This emphasized the importance of such scientific activities in linking academic research with practical application, and in supporting the university’s orientation toward innovation and community service.
