As part of its active participation in the "Future Sustainability Week" organized by Future University, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Science launched a distinguished awareness initiative aimed at promoting health awareness among students and the community. The initiative included both practical and theoretical explanations about blood pressure and glucose monitoring devices, highlighting their importance in the early detection of chronic health conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
The event featured a detailed demonstration of how to use these devices and emphasized the health risks that can be prevented through regular monitoring of vital health indicators. Awareness leaflets designed by the department’s students were also distributed, explaining in a simple manner how to use the devices, interpret the results, and understand the normal ranges for blood pressure and glucose levels, under the campaign slogan "Your Health in Your Hands."
This initiative aligns with the department’s vision of leveraging smart technologies to serve public health and promote sustainability concepts through community education, fully supporting Future University’s goals of building an informed and educated society capable of addressing health and environmental challenges.
