High-Level Delegations Participate in the First Iraqi Medical Congress in London, with Al-Mustaqbal University Making a Remarkable Appearance
High-level academic and medical delegations took part in the "First Iraqi Medical Congress," held under the patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the United Kingdom on June 14–15, 2025, in the British capital, London. The event saw broad participation from Iraqi universities and prominent medical professionals from the diaspora.
Al-Mustaqbal University was represented by an official delegation led by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, along with several deans and senior officials. The university participated in the scientific sessions and hosted a dedicated booth that showcased its achievements, particularly in medical education and its state-of-the-art teaching hospital.
The university's booth was visited by the Iraqi Ambassador to the UK, Mr. Mohammad Jaafar Al-Sadr, who expressed admiration for the university’s academic and medical progress and its advanced facilities.
The congress served as a national platform to foster collaboration between Iraqi professionals at home and abroad, strengthening ties in research, education, and healthcare development—aligning with the country's broader vision for progress.
