A faculty member from the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics at the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, University of Al-Mustaqbal, Asst. Lecturer Muntathar Salih Mahdi, participated in the review and evaluation of a scientific research paper published in the prestigious journal Biomedical Materials. This journal is a peer-reviewed publication issued by the renowned British publishing house IOP Publishing, and is indexed in Clarivate/Web of Science.

Mr. Muntathar’s contribution came through a comprehensive peer review report for a research paper that explored advanced technologies in the design of surface bone implants aimed at enhancing osseointegration and antibacterial properties. His report praised the study for its thorough and detailed review of modern techniques in this vital field, while also highlighting the importance of improving the paper by addressing technical limitations, challenges, and distinguishing between established methods and emerging innovations.

It is worth noting that Biomedical Materials holds a distinguished scientific reputation, with an Impact Factor of 4.103 and a CiteScore of 5.5, reflecting the high quality of the research it publishes.
