The Office of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University, in coordination with the National Center for Copyright under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, organized a scientific seminar entitled:
"Protecting Scientific Research as Original Works under the Copyright Law."
The event was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuheiri, Director of Scientific Supervision. It was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, as well as a number of researchers and academics.
The seminar discussed the mechanisms for registering scientific research as intellectual works protected under Iraqi Copyright Law No. 3 of 1971, and the importance of this process in safeguarding the intellectual rights of researchers and promoting an innovation-driven academic environment.
The event featured a valuable lecture delivered by Mr. Musab Kamil Maki, representative of the Ministry, followed by engaging discussions and inputs from participants. It concluded with the distribution of appreciation certificates to the contributors.
